Waiting for the fog to lift.
Depression can look like sadness, but it can also look like exhaustion, irritability or simply feeling nothing. Things you used to enjoy feel pointless. Getting through the day takes everything you have, and hiding how you feel takes even more.
Many people pull back from friends and family, or lean more on alcohol, food or screens to get through. That's understandable, but over time it can deepen the low mood and the belief that things won't get better.
Depression is not a weakness and nothing to be ashamed of. Reaching out, even reading this page, takes strength.
Together we'll piece together what's keeping you stuck: the thought patterns, habits and circumstances that feed low mood. Using CBT, we'll gently rebuild the activities and connections that matter to you, and loosen the grip of thoughts like "I'm a failure" or "nothing will change".
Those thoughts feel like facts, but they aren't evidence about your future. It's never too late to get help.
